Vajra Assembly with Judy Lief

Ground, Path & Fruition of Mahamudra

An introduction to the vajra assembly teachings of Vidyadhara, Chögyam Trungpa, Rinpoche

With Judy Lief and Derek Kolleeny April 5-7, 2019 Wallingford, Pa

Vajra-Assembly

Designed for new ngöndro practitioners in the lineage of Chögyam Trungpa, Rinpoche, this gathering followed in the tradition started in 1976 when the Vidyadhara introduced a series of programs restricted to ngöndro practitioners and tantrikas, called “Vajra Assemblies.” The Vidyadhara’s Vajra Assemblies were at the heart of the ngöndro journey and a powerful means for training and ripening new tantrikas. Each assembly unlocked a new treasure of vajrayana view and practice with devotion, group practice, study, and bonds of friendship providing essential support for fledgling practitioners.

In our April gathering, we focused on the teachings from first Vajra Assembly held at Karme Chöling in 1976, entitled “Ground, Path, and Fruition” which provides a path for deepening the ngöndro practice and a view into the Vidyadhara’s Vajra Assembly teachings.
