"The Power of Mind"
with Khentrul Rinpoche
THE WISDOM SEAT AUTHOR SERIES

We’ve all heard platitudes about cultivating love and compassion, but how can we really develop these qualities in ourselves and - crucially - share them in our world?
The Wisdom Seat is honored to offer an eight-session group book study and practice offering, with the author Khentrul Rinpoche joining for the last session to teach to the participants.
November - December, 2022

Khentrul Rinpoche's new book is The Power of Mind: A Tibetan Monk’s Guide to Finding Freedom in Every Challenge. Based on ancient Buddhist techniques, this modern guidebook to lojong (also known as The Seven Key Points of Mind Training) provides a step-by-step approach for transforming emotional pain, anxiety, and stress into complete mental well-being that benefits us and the people around us.

“Peace and happiness can be attained, but not by searching for something in the outside world. They start within us then extend out to the entire globe.” - Khentrul Lodro Thaye Rinpoche

Over this eight-session study and practice series, participants will meet virtually with Jacqui Merrell & Stephanie Tade to read and discuss the book, and practice mindfulness awareness meditation.

Khentrul Lodro Thaye Rinpoche will join the group on a date to be determined to explore together the depth of the text.
